- In a pan, heat 2 liters of water
- While the water starts to boil, chop down all the vegetables listed above. These include; cabbage, green/ while onion, bell peppers, tomato, carrots, celery and mushrooms.
- Now add them to the water and let the vegetables boil for one and a half hour.
- Add in juice of one lemon
- Cover the pan with a lid and let it cook for an hour and a half.

Following is the cabbage soup diet plan for weight loss.
- Day 1: eat as many fruits as you want except banana. Focus on eating apples and take in as much of the cabbage soup as you like. You can replace coffee and tea with water and green tea
- Day 2: on this day, you can eat as many vegetables as you want along with the cabbage soup. Also drink at least 8 glasses of water or hot drinks.
- Daye 3: you can eat as much cabbage soup as you want with one banana on this day. Consume a lot of water and hot drinks
- Day 4: this is an apple day, eat as many apples as you want along with cabbage soup and water
- Day 5: today you can eat 6 tomatoes and 500 grams of fat-free meat along with the effective cabbage soup for weight loss.Also drink 6 to 8 glasses of water
- Day 6:continue consuming cabbage soup with large quantity of brown rice which are cooked and boiled with vegetables. Drink at least 6 to 8 glasses of water as well.
- Day 7: repeat day 5, today you can eat cabbage soup along with 500 grams of fat-free meat and 6 fresh tomatoes. Drink at least 6 to 8 glasses of water or other hot drinks
